This post look at the GPRS/APN/WAP/DNS/OTA/INTERNET Settings/manual configurations of Seris X Phones, symbian/S30/S40 on the MTN Nigeria network.
They include Nokia X1,X1-01,X2,Nokia X2-05,Nokia X3,Nokia X3-02,X5,Nokia X5-01,Nokia X6,X7,Nokia X500,Nokia X600
In order to manually configure these phones with the gprs/apn/wap/ip/dns/internet settings of the MTN Nigeria network, Go to:
Menu > tools >settings > connections >options > New Access Point:
Connection Name =MTNyayo
Data bearer = Packet data
Access Point Name =web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Username =web
Prompt Password =no
Password =web
Authentication = Secure
Homepage = http://wap.mtnonline.com
Use access point automatically.
